Codeseven completes new album

North Carolina's Codeseven have finished their new album after spending most of June tracking the effort with Michael Birnbaum in Woodstock, NY. Here's what the band has to say: "...After putting in so many long and stressful nights trying to get everything ready for the studio, it's all over with and the hard work has definitely payed off. To say that were all happy with it would be a huge understatement. I think for the first time we've left the studio with the vision we knew we wanted, and then some." The record will hit stores later this year via Equal Vision Records. In the interim, the group has contributed an unreleased song to the new Volcom compilation, "The Only Constant Is Change," which will hit stores on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Codeseven has lined up a small handful of August shows. Here's the latest: 8/6 Charlotte NC @ Tremont Music Hall w/ Beloved, BTBAM, Glass Casket 8/15 Cleveland OH @ Scene Pavillion (Strhessfest) 8/18 Norfolk VA @ Relative Theory Recs w/ Scatter The Ashes, Endicott 8/19 Wilmington NC @ The Soapbox w/ Scatter The Ashes, Endicott 8/20 Baltimore MD @ The Ottobar w/ Liars Academy, more 8/21 South Amboy NJ @ Krome w/ Liars Academy, Bear Vs Shark 8/22 New York NY @ The Continental (3pm) w/ Liars Academy, Bear Vs Shark
