Post CommentIf I were to attend, the only vomit forth I'd be involved with is assbarf blasting from my buttpipe all over the dance floor, due to this shit-tier lineup inducing explosive and uncontrollable diarrhea. Even if Terror were on this fest, I must disrespectfully request it be kept out of Billings.
vomit forth missed a huge opportunity to call themselves vomit froth
theres a band called restraining order. lmao. thats got to be a trigger for many dudes in this scene
I'm being honest when I say Who are these bands?
So it's like United Blood, with a different name?
so its united blood but for stinky kids that are mainly 18-22
Hardcore music is at its all time worst. Enjoy it you WOKE idiots.
Drop the "izer" at the end of the 5/21 headliner and now you've got a festival.
do any of these bands draw more than 40 people on their own?
Terrorizer - a Terror cover band is headlining that date? Lame.
A "hardcore" fest where the only bands worth seeing aren't even remotely hardcore. Well, that's something.
Should be called the stupid fest because this is stupid and the bands are stupid as well and everything about all of this is just really really stupid.
Big Takeover? Where's Bad Brains? I mean if you're gonna name the fest... This is some weak sh it for the simple fact that it's happening cuz barber David Foster can't do United Blood Fest & the entire fest once announced can't possibly be as good as or better than United Blood or it'd be UB right? Give it a fu cking rest with Restraining Order, Mindforce & Dead Heat - it's not happening.
Fight me during the Spy set >>> You would lose, badly, clown.
^^^ It just screams "We couldn't get reunion, reformation, or pre-2000 bands to play this."
I never heard of United Blood Fest and I won't hear about this fest either
I never heard of United Blood Fest and I won't hear about this fest either ^^^^^^ It's cuck stuff.
Since when is Nosebleed a headliner? Or are they just playing last?
big LOL at Slick Rick's "hardcore is at its worst of all time". This dude is such a f*cking moron. How exactly is hardcore at its worst of all time in one of the largest periods of global unrest and uncertainty in our modern age? I know Rick thinks he knows history, but he is a f*cking idiot so I will drop some knowledge on his troglodyte ass. Historically whenever the world or society has faced immense stress, hardship, political strife and discontent- the arts explode in a Renaissance fashion as a coping mechanism. This is evidenced after the black death pandemic which led to the rise of the Renaissance. Also evidenced by the "roaring twenties" as a response to the trouble of WW1. Also evidenced by the rise and growth in silent film and theatre in WW2 Germany and U.S. Also evidenced to the rise and formation of a lot of seminal hardcore punk bands as a reaction to reaganism and the cold War during the 1980s. Rick your a f*cking idiot. Hardcore is entering a Renaissance.
cool story bro. To the post above this one...
^^^ While I don't agree with Rick I think you are the polar opposite. You are what I call a "hardcore cheerleader." You think hardcore is great when it is not. Hardcore is mimicry at this point. A band of five people aged 23 to 30. The oldest member was born in 1992 & got into hardcore at age 15/in 2007 & yet the band sounds like a 1980S BAND? C'mon. Most bands suck fest promoter di ck. Triple B Records ridiculously is everywhere to the point that I'm sick of them - dude who runs it is a rich kid what else? All these bands calling themselves punk, thrash & crossover...fu ck you. All these Turnstile dickriders cuz they wsnt their sh it to blow up too - Turnstile has you in the rear view suckas. Look at that overrated/hyped crap Gulch with their ridiculous farewell tour as if they were Agnostic Front & when they formed in 2017 & didn't tour until 2019. Their fans care more about their merch than their music & they Gulch follow suit.
History would tell you anything but regarding hardcore music or any other musical genre. The arts are how people are coping with the world today. Antique sales are at an all time high, people are looking to past culture for modern comfort. Hence why all the bands "sound like they are from the 80s" the Renaissance was in the 1500s and revived Greek and Roman culture from hundreds of years earlier. Im sure there were cucks during the Renaissance saying the same shit your saying. "This is old shit. No one cares" but in reality it's modern art inspired by older art with a new twist. It sounds like you just wanna whine about hardcore music cause you're too safe in your ways/ views and aren't willing to entertain newer ways of doing old things cause they make you uncomfortable. Hardcore Music is about expressing emotions and sharing community. There is no room for gate keepers. All things evolve based on past inspiration
Hardcore is dying. No good local bands. It's that simple.
"This is some weak sh it for the simple fact that it's happening cuz barber David Foster can't do United Blood Fest & the entire fest once announced can't possibly be as good as or better than United Blood or it'd be UB right?" Did you JUST learn English?
Big Takeover is Budget United Blood. Stop sticking your band on every other Richmond show, Ace.
Ace couldn't suck off Floorpunch to play at this?
