Maylene and the Sons of Disaster filming 'comeback music video'
It looks as though Maylene and the Sons of Disaster may be set to return after a five-year absence. The Southern rock/metal unit was in Tallahassee, Florida this week shooting a "comeback music video" with director Scott Hansen (see below).
Maylene had been on hold since late 2016 as the result of a serious ATV accident involving vocalist Dallas Taylor.

Happy to see Dallas doing well enough to make music again.
Hopefully Dallas' health is improved a lot and ideally they're not playing that buttrock style they had going on in their last album.
siiiickkkkkk!!!! the "comeback" no one asked for, wanted, or cares about
I have been waiting paintiently for this day since 2008
Middle aged dudes with bad tattoos, bitch tits, square glasses and affinity of coffee snobbery are stoked
Hell, yes! After Dallas' last health update I didn't think we would see Maylene again. Hopefully he is well enough to be part of the project still.
Video didn't load until after my above comment - he has some eye protection on, but glad to see him back in action.
There's some girl from Canada who now has three kids that might be excited by this if she built a time machine and could relive standing the back of the room at the local metalcore show.
People with tattoos from 2004 that now look terrible are stoked.
If you don't care, why bother to post a comment? People reading the update are actually are interested in the band, and personally I think it's amazing to see this after what he's been through. You rock, Dallas!
This has replaced John Mayer in my brother's "getting laid tonight" albums
Im very happy for Dallas. After that horrible accident, i didnt know how well he would recover. Glad to see him back at it.
^^didn't have talent before the accident, doesn't have talent after. unlistenable garbage
why are they so muddy in the photo? is that a crash scene photo from his atv accident
Don't care if it's at a basement show with 17 people this is a comeback I'll be stoked and drunk as fck for. LFG
These guys really struck gold as far as shit*y band names.
Excited for the comeback. Yeah last album was rough but the first three are wild. Don't really get the hate on this band tbh
Shows will be attended by a bunch of dudes stretching before the set saying shit like "I haven't been in a pit since before Harper was born. I'm so glad we found a sitter!"
anonymous 21 hours ago I'd rather see covid make a comeback. anonymous 22 hours ago Reunion tour, playing to 30 people a night. lol
Your tattoos are gonna look shitty in 20 years, too!
