Maylene and the Sons of Disaster filming 'comeback music video'

It looks as though Maylene and the Sons of Disaster may be set to return after a five-year absence. The Southern rock/metal unit was in Tallahassee, Florida this week shooting a "comeback music video" with director Scott Hansen (see below).

Maylene had been on hold since late 2016 as the result of a serious ATV accident involving vocalist Dallas Taylor.

Stay tuned.

Happy to see Dallas doing well enough to make music again.

Hopefully Dallas' health is improved a lot and ideally they're not playing that buttrock style they had going on in their last album.

Hell, yes! After Dallas' last health update I didn't think we would see Maylene again. Hopefully he is well enough to be part of the project still.

Video didn't load until after my above comment - he has some eye protection on, but glad to see him back in action.

There's some girl from Canada who now has three kids that might be excited by this if she built a time machine and could relive standing the back of the room at the local metalcore show.

anonymous 133 days ago

People with tattoos from 2004 that now look terrible are stoked.

anonymous 133 days ago

If you don't care, why bother to post a comment? People reading the update are actually are interested in the band, and personally I think it's amazing to see this after what he's been through. You rock, Dallas!

anonymous 133 days ago
