Orange County, California hardcore band Dare have scrapped the remainder of their California mini-tour with One Step Closer and Modern Color due to several positive Covid-19 tests within their touring party.
Among the shows canceled was last night's (December 19) free Pop Up Shop & Skate Jam performance. "Due to members of the touring party testing positive for covid this show is no longer happening," the band share last night. "DARE will have to cancel the remaining shows on this run. We will make it up to everyone someway, somehow. Much love to One Step Closer and Modern Color for an unforgettable run. Be safe."

Real talk about why these bands with covid-vaccinated members are getting covid, besides that the vaccine doesn't prevent covid & isn't a cure for it: THEY ARE NOT WEARING MASKS IN INDOOR PUBLIC PLACES OR SOCIALLY DISTANCING. They erroneously think vaccine = don't wear a mask in indoor places or socially distance. Wrong.
