Jesus Piece drummer Luis Aponte to perform on SNL with Charli XCX this weekend

Luis Aponte, drummer of Philadelphia hardcore/metalcore unit Jesus Piece, will find himself on one of America's most iconic TV shows this weekend as he performs with singer and songwriter Charli XCX on Saturday Night Live.

A drum cam video of Aponte posted earlier this year reportedly caught the attention of the Charli XCX camp, leading to the gig.

SNL featuring host Paul Rudd will air this Saturday, December 18.
