Kill Your Idols return with first new song in 15 years
New York hardcore-punk veterans Kill Your Idols have issued a new single, their first original music since 2006. Titled "Simple, Short, & Fast," the track will appear on a four-song split EP with Long Island hardcore outfit Rule Them All, to be released by Flatspot Records on February 4. You can have a listen below.
Guitarist Gary Bennett comments: "'Simple, Short, & Fast' is a song many can relate to. We all have that friend that thinks they can help by being pedantic. They mean well, but sometimes you just need to be alone in your thoughts. You need to sort it out yourself. But it's also the perfect formula for hardcore music - Simple, Short, & Fast."

1995-2007 is over. Get lost. LOL @ them taking 15 years to write a minute long song. Hey KYI do you know you're putting out a record with a record label (Flatspot Records) who put out a record by Countdown a band who broke up because they had a song defending a sexual assaulter, and this song was included on this record? Countdown's vocalist is the vocalist of Ekuku.
did not hear from them 15 years ago. will also not be now
So if these guys were my idols I should kill them?
I remember when they took American Nightmare on tour back in 01 or so they were moaning on their website about so many hc bands trying to sound like American Nightmare.
