Protest The Hero have announced their first gigs in three years. Those shows will take place in March in Canada, with dates as follows:

3/1 Ottawa, ON @ Bronson Centre
3/2 Montreal, QC @ Theatre Fairmount
3/3 Quebec City, QC @ Imperial
3/5 London, ON @ London Music Hall
3/11 Toronto, ON @ Danforth

Along with sharing the new dates, Protest The Hero have also revealed that founding guitarist Luke Hoskin will no longer be touring with the band, but will remain involved in writing and recording:

"In the initial planning stages for the Palimpsest record cycle, we had some dates booked in 2020 that never got announced. To be frank, it was a tour to see if we wanted to continue touring—a way to dip a toe back in to see if that lifestyle still worked with our middle-aged, adulting lives. When we didn't get that chance to hit the road during the pandemic lockdowns, some of us were relieved and others were disappointed. When the conversation came up again, Luke expressed that he was relieved when we had to cancel the shows in 2020, while the remaining 3 of us were still keen to play shows if it could work. We came to the difficult decision that we'd continue performing and look for a suitable live guitarist for the touring band. However, never fear. Dear Truke will continue to be involved in many other areas like writing, recording, and editing pupdates."

3/6 - 3/10 could easily support a 5 night Billings run

The Human Abstract > Protest The Hero Yeah I said it be mad ^PTH has had a way longer career and put out far more quality material. Kezia is still my favorite but even Pacific Myth is listenable and sounds good live.

Oh, great, how I've missed them! Just kidding, I've actually had sex and seen naked women without paying for either.

Why not just pack it in? Youre past your commercial prime, you'll never have an album cycle like Kezia or Foretress again so why not just end it on a high note instead of doing some 2021 PTH tour with 2 original members playing songs from the albums no one gave a shit about

Newest album was tight. If you disagree it's because you have no butthole.
