Mastodon were the musical guest on last night's episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers. The group performed "Teardrinker," a cut from their new, Grammy-nominated album, Hushed and Grim.

Wait...why isn't Turnstile playing Seth Meyers. Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, or Saturday Night Live? Nominated for a Grammy? I thought they were the greatest thing since sliced bread? Lousy management.
Todd Jones here. Steph Meyers did indeed contact us; homeboy and his crew had taken over an old aircraft hangar at Point Mugu to build a new show set. We quickly figured out that they only wanted NAILS to put their sound equipment through the works before inviting the real bands. We don't pimp NAILS out for low-rent bitch boys, so I put on the leather jacket and aviators in the grim moonlight, and latered those posers for eternity. They will never be one of us.

No we collectively find this band to be the most overrated garbage ever. They were always boring live but now it's even worse. Bass player could never scream but he somehow sounds horrendous and he has 3 parts now. The only reason they got a following is because Relapse forced Dillinger Escape Plan to put the on every tour for almost 5 years. DEP was the cash cow and saw pocket change yet Mastodon got paid. F- Relapse and F- Mastodon.
Thought if we resisted enough they'd eventually go away but here it is the end of 2021 and the media and beardos are still trying to convince the world that Mastodon is good.
