Possessed frontman Jeff Becerra walks again for first time in more than 30 years

Jeff Becerra, longtime vocalist of Bay Area death/thrash metal outfit Possessed, reports that he was recently able to walk again for the first time in more than three decades with the assistance of robotic legs.

Becerra was shot twice during a robbery in 1989, leaving him paralyzed from the chest down and wheelchair-bound since.

Yesterday, Becerra uploaded a video (see below) showing him taking several steps at an undisclosed medical facility. Becerra added, "I walked again! I walked again for the first time in over 30 years with the help of robotic legs."
