Relapse Records signs Zombi

Progressive, synthesizer-based outfit Zombi has officially signed with Relapse Records. According to the label, the Pittsburgh, PA duo "weaves an ever-changing series of rich, decaying analog synth waves through an organic, driving bass and drum foundation, creating chilling moods and atmospheres." Their new album was recorded at El Studio and Nightmare City Studios in Pittsburgh and was mastered by Scott Hull (Nile) at Visceral Sound. The effort, entitled "Cosmos," will be available in August.
