Eighteen Visions have released a new covers album titled 1996. The new record consists of nine cover songs along with the original title track, which premiered earlier this month.

The entire outing can be streamed below.

18V comment: "We’ve always been a band that pulls inspiration and influence from just about every corner of the music world. For this collection of covers, we thought it would be cool to focus on some of our favorites from the 90s that have probably shaped our band the most. We hope you enjoy these hardcore and hard rock cuts. We had an amazing time exploring and recording these songs. Enjoy!"

Every corner of the music world including such wide spreading reaches like hardcore AND hard rock.

If I had a time machine, I would send a vanflip back to 1996 to take out this entire scene.

18v must be so confusing to this younger generation. They are old (eww gross) and therefore arent going to get you any traction if you play them for your dance on tiktok but they're also gender fluid non binary hairdressers that f*cking rip and play instruments... the ultimate conundrum. I am a Russian bot from a farm. Fight me at furnacefest in the 18v pit

This is trash. James hart has a terrible voice.

anonymous 7/12/2021 6:55:55 AM

James's voice sounds far too coached, as in he took singing lessons he is missing the initial grit & flem that occurred in eighteen visions previous work ala the no time for love seven inch & the "Lifeless" mcd.

anonymous 7/12/2021 9:25:09 AM

all these trash comments. so many people miss the fact that most bands play music and create art for themselves not to appease others. what is WRONG with you all?

anonymous 7/12/2021 9:10:40 PM

Fake woke bitches that refer to themselves as "they/them" and hate men until they run out of money from Cashapp are stoked.

Hangedman rips. Not sure about this cover though. But can they hang sheet rock ?

anonymous 1/5/2022 6:36:10 AM

I just Sheetrocked my pants.

I thought this was a original album, OBVIOUSLY knew Metallica was a cover and the grunge song but the others were done so in "18v" fashion that I didn't realize right away. I hope they keep up their stuff. No one sounds like them. The Entombed of hxc.
