Fear Factory fail to debut on Billboard 200 for first time since 1995

The new album’s first week sales are roughly half of the previous album from 2015, but they’ve moved up on the sales chart (Billboard’s Top Albums chart is based on pure sales, unlike the Billboard 200). It’s their lowest first-week number in years, but their highest ever Top Album Sales chart position."

This is strange. Dino has done a trillion podcasts promoting the album and the young crowd loves metalcore and nu-metal. You think they'd be all over this. Is it over for Fear Factory?
I like the album. Thats all, its okay, i like it It doesnt have that strong impact that Mechanize and Genexus do for me sadly. So i get why it isnt selling well. I feel like they could have taken more time to work the songs, but with court battles and money issues this may be the best we could have gotten. Oh well. It isnt like it was a shit stain, but it could have been better
It's because of the bullshit woke lyrics. People aren't into this crap anymore. I loved FF for a long time but this pandering to the extreme left is absurd and failing to land higher on this chart is what happens.

I love it, much better than the last album. You know you are doing something right when you see the right wing snowflakes getting triggered. I guess they don't realise the controversial and extreme political nature that metal is, they cry when it goes against their beliefs and views.
It is much more musically complex than recent offerings, so the run of the mill average Joe wont like it. If you love Digimortal, this is like that album but cranked up with the anger and aggression on 10.

It's awesome! Too bad FF music is not appreciated. They were ahead of their time. You got to feel sorry for the trolls that want to downplay the music.
