Primus announce rescheduled Rush tribute tour

Primus Rush tribute tour Roughly one year since it was posptoned, Primus have now announced rescheduled dates for their "A Farewell to Kings" Rush tribute tour. The trek will now take place this summer/fall, with the current itinerary listed below. With support from Wolfmother and The Sword (on select dates), the trek will feature Primus performing the Rush's 1977 album A Farewell to Kings each night in addition to select cuts from their own catalog. Primus frontman Les Claypool comments: "Finally, the clouds are parting, the planets are aligning, the dough is rising…whatever metaphor floats your preverbal boat, Primus is going on tour again. We were poised and ready for a massive, bent-rock extravaganza when the gremlins of Covid came and yanked the rug out from under us all. I personally have been climbing the walls like a shit-house rat and, after my first season off in 30 some odd years, I'm very anxious and excited to stand in front of the microphone with my four string piece of furniture and belt out some girthy ditties to sweaty throngs of punters." 8/10 Boise, ID @ Outlaw Field 8/11 Bonner, MT @ Kettlehouse Amphitheater 8/13 Spokane, WA @ Riverfront Park 8/14 Redmond, WA @ Marymoor Park 8/17 Troutdale, OR @ Edgefield 8/18 Bend, OR @ Les Schwab Amphitheater dates w/ The Sword 8/28 Asheville, NC @ ExploreAsheville Arena 8/30 Orlando, FL @ Hard Rock 8/31 Atlanta, GA @ Roxy Theater 9/3 Manchester, TN @ Bonnaroo 9/4 Raleigh, NC @ Red Hat Amphitheater 9/5 Charlotte, NC @ Metro Amphitheater 9/7 Houston, TX @ The Bayou 9/9 Austin, TX @ ACL Live - Moody Theater 9/10 New Orleans, LA @ The Saenger Theater 9/11 Irving, TX @ Toyota Music Factory 9/14 St. Louis, MO @ Music Park 9/16 Indianapolis, IN @ The Lawn 9/17 Cleveland, OH @ Jacobs Pavilion 9/18 Cincinnati, OH @ PNC Pavilion 9/20 Columbus, OH @ Express Live Pavilion 9/21 Chicago, IL @ Chicago Theater 9/22 Sterling Heights, MI @ Freedom Hill Amphitheater 9/24 Boston, MA @ Rockland Trust Bank Pavilion 9/25 Asbury Park, NJ @ Stone Pony Lot 9/26 Wallingford, CT @ Oakdale Theater 9/28 New York, NY @ Beacon Theater 9/29 Baltimore, MD @ MECU Pavilion 10/1 Philadelphia, PA @ MET Opera House 10/2 Essex Junction, VT @ Midway Lawn Chamlain Valley Expo 10/3 Westbrook, ME @ Main Savings Pavilion 10/5 Pittsburgh, PA @ Stage AE 10/6 Richmond, VA @ Virginia Credit Union LIVE! 10/8 Milwaukee, WI @ BMO Pavilion 10/9 Kansas City, MO @ Grinder's 10/13 Salt Lake City, UT @ Complex Live 10/15 Berkeley, CA @ The Greek 10/16 Raso Robles, CA @ Vina Robles Amphitheater 10/17 Los Angeles, CA @ The Greek Theater 10/19 San Diego, CA @ Cal Coast 10/21 Denver, CO @ The Mission 10/22 Denver, CO @ The Mission 10/25 Phoenix, AX @ Arizona Federal Theater
