Northlane bassist Brendon Padjasek quits band

Northlane bass player of three years Brendon Padjasek has announced his departure from the Australian metalcore/alternative metal band. A replacement has yet to be named. Padjasek's statement reads as follows:
"I regret to inform you that I have decided to leave Northlane for my own personal reasons. I spent all of last year realizing that though music is still my calling, touring is not. "It may seem like the most amazing life and that it's all easy, but from my experiences it takes a certain type of person to be able to happily live that life and forego the stress it brings, and I unfortunately am not that person. Through seeing a therapist, doing a lot of personal growth and looking internally, I've come to realize that being home with my friends, family, girlfriend and studio - progressing as a musician/ producer and human in that way - is the life that I enjoy and choose. "I want to thank Nic, Jon, Marcus and Josh for giving me some of the best and funniest times of my life - literally some of the funniest times of my life - but also some of the hardest. You've helped me grow as a person and musician, taught me a lot about friendship, honesty, being open minded, teamwork, and most of all helped me realize the person I want to be and the life I want to lead. I love the four of you very much, your friendship means the world to me and I wish you luck in the rest of your career. Ps, from what I've heard of the demos, we're all in for an amazing next body of work from Northlane. Thank you!"
