Mr. Bungle score their highest charting album to date
The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny Demo, the fourth studio album from eclectic California ensemble Mr. Bungle (featuring current and former members of Faith No More, Secret Chiefs 3, Slayer, and Anthrax, among others), has debuted at No. 30 on the Billboard 200, the band's highest showing to date on said chart.
A re-recording of their first demo and Mr. Bungle's first new record in twenty years, The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny Demo tallied roughly 16,000 pure album sales in its first week of release in the United States.
The album also landed at No. 1 on the Hard Rock Albums chart, No. 6 on the Rock Albums chart, No. 7 on the Top Album Sales chart, and No. 6 on the Top Current Album Sales chart.
In 1995, Mr. Bungle's sophomore album, Disco Volante, peaked at No. 113 on the Billboard 200. Four years later, their California album bowed at No. 144.
