All That Remains recently began the writing process for their next album. According to frontman Phil Labonte, the new record is likely to arrive in spring 2021.

In a new interview with FM99 WNOR (video below), Labonte had the following to say about writing an album without longtime guitarist Oli Herbert, who passed away in 2018:

Speaking on writing without longtime guitarist Oli Herbert, who passed away in 2018, Labonte had the following to say: "Our guitar player, Oli Herbert, passed away a couple of years back, so this will be the first record that we write without him. He was a big part of the writing process for so long, it's gonna definitely have some different elements, and it's gonna sound different. Mike [Martin] and I, we've always been a big part of the writing as well, so it's not gonna be completely different, but there's gonna be some noticeable changes, I'm sure. It's just gonna be weird. We haven't written a record without [Oli]."
