Furnace Fest postponed to 2021

Furnace Fest Alabama music festival Furnace Fest was to make its glorious return this September, with three days of performances from a slew of bands, including Beloved, Poison The Well, Eighteen Visions, Hopesfall, Codeseven, Evergreen Terrace, Haste, and Stretch Arm Strong. Alas, COVID-19 came along and completely ravaged 2020. As such, the return of Furnace Fest has been postponed to May 14-16, 2021. Thus far, a "majority" of the bands slated to perform have confirmed plans to participate next year. Reconfirmations as well as new additions will be revealed in the coming weeks and months. A statement from festival organizers reads as follows:
Thank you for being patient with us in this season. As much as we had hoped to the contrary, Furnace Fest 2020 is being postponed to the weekend of May 14th-16th, 2021. All tickets will be honored for the new date. Keeping everyone safe is our top priority. Maintaining a lineup as close to what we had initially planned is the objective now. We've already reached out to all of our booking agent & artist partners. Thankfully, a majority of the original bands have already confirmed the new dates. Coincidentally, 3-day passes just recently sold-out. Given the time we have to plan, we've opted to expand capacity by adding a third stage. Pre-Coronavirus, we had anticipated a sell-out scenario and had booked 20+ additional bands for this third stage, all of which were inspired by your requests. While we're sad not to be seeing you in 2020, this lineup is turning out to be even more incredible than anything we thought possible. We'll begin announcing the new additions and re-confirmed acts in the weeks and months to come. For those of you who aren't able to join us next May, or have experienced financial hardships due to Covid-19, full refunds will begin tomorrow. A special refund window will ONLY stay open until June 30th. After June 30th, we'll revert to our no-refund policy. We believe this decision is the best way to care for fans and bands alike and can't wait to be singing along with you next May! Here's more information related to refunds and making changes to flights/ accommodations: There is absolutely nothing you need to do on the ticketing front if you plan on joining us in May. The tickets you have now will be valid for the new date, even though they will list the original September timeframe. Think of them as a digital souvenir from the year none of us saw coming. If you can not attend or would like a refund related to Covid-19 financial hardships, please contact Freshtix by email at greenlight@freshtix.com OR by phone at 678-701-6114 and reference your order number(s). DO NOT CONTACT YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY! Please bear with us; we will take care of you. Refunds are available ONLY through June 30th, 2020. After this date, we will revert to our original no-refund policy.
