Jesu (ex-Godflesh) joins Hydra Head roster

Earlier this month Jesu officially joined the Hydra Head Records roster. Formed by Godflesh frontman Justin Broadrick, the group also features Ted Parsons (Godflesh, Swans, Prong) and Diarmuid Dalton (Final, Cable Regime). According to Hydra Head, while Jesu "will certainly appeal to fans of Godflesh with its extreme density and extended song formats, it will undoubtedly open up doors to new listeners. Jesu is clearly a focused and unique vision untarnished by overt influences, but that said this is a record that will appeal to a lot of different folks including fans of such bands as Low, Swans, My Blood Valentine, Pelican, etc." The group's debut full-length has already been recorded and will likely be available in late-summer/early-fall.
