Rammstein frontman
Till Lindemann has been in a Berlin hospital battling COVID-19, according to German newspaper
Bild.
After performing a concert in Moscow on March 15, Lindemann returned to Germany and was reportedly hospitalized with a high fever, later testing positive for coronavirus. Bild reports that Lindemann was then sent to intensive care and was, for a time, in critical condition.
The 57-year-singer has since begun to recover and is now said to be out of danger.
UPDATE: Disputing the coronavirus aspect of Bild's aforementioned report, Rammstein have issued this statement:
"Yesterday evening Till Lindemann was admitted to a hospital on the band's doctor's advice. He spent the night in intensive care but has been moved as he is feeling better. Till has tested negative for the coronavirus."
