ex-D.R.I. bassist Josh Pappe dies

Josh Pappe, former bassist for crossover thrash legends D.R.I. (Dirty Rotten Imbeciles), reportedly passed away on Thursday, January 30. Circumstances surrounding his death haven't been revealed. Pappe was 53. First playing with D.R.I. in 1983, Pappe appeared on the band's Crossover (1987) and 4 of a Kind (1988) albums before exiting the group in 1989. Pappe subsequently spent two years playing bass for Gang Green.
