Depressive metal quartet Ether Coven, featuring a contingent of Remembering Never, have solidified plans to release a studio album in early 2020.

The new outing has been titled Everything Is Temporary Except Suffering and is slated to arrive on January 17 through Century Media Records. Produced by Erik Rutan (Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel) and mastered by Alan Douches (Cradle of Filth, Motorhead), the record also features artwork by Stephen Kasner (Integrity, Sunn O)))).

The album's first single, "Flower Crown," can be streamed here:

Ether Coven had the following to say: "'Flower Crown', the first track we're releasing, is one of two short songs on the record. It's about womanhood spitting back at a male-dominated world. Maleness is most celebrated with women seen as delicate cheerleaders, being expected to go along with filling a secondary (or even tertiary) role to a man, in a man's world. Time has shown that this is far from the case, and it is so important for people who identify as women to be loud and be unafraid to shake things up. It's equally important for men to give women space, whether it's a platform or distance to grow and exist and hold other men accountable. This is for all the Emmas, the Angelas, and Marshas that will continue to inspire the world to be and do better."

Everything Is Temporary Except Suffering track listing:

1. This House Is a Tomb of Memories
2. Flower Crown
3. As the Noose of the Ever Changing World Tightens Around Your Neck
4. Of Bitterness and Shame
5. House of Strangers
6. When Quiet Fell
7. The Burden of Loss
8. Enjoy Life
9. Unravel
