Southern California's Taken will soon be disbanding after six years together. During that time, the band has released two EPs and a full-length. According to Taken, the decision has been made as a result of band members' focus shifting from the group to other endeavors. This spring, the band will enter the studio to record a final EP, which Goodfellow Records will be releasing in July. Notably, original drummer Troy Born will be returning for the group's final EP and shows. In addition to the two following shows at Koos Cafe, Taken will play a few last shows, two in SoCal, and one in Southern Ontario.

3/21 Long Beach CA @ Koos Cafe w/ Cursed, Breather Resist, more
4/10 Long Beach CA @ Koos Cafe w/ Hot Cross, Lickgoldensky, more

On a personal note, we've been covering Taken for about four years now and really dig those guys. We'll be sad to see them go and wish Ray, Chad, and company good luck in the future.
