Official press release:
After an already standout 2019 thus far for The Artisan Era with worldwide praised albums from Warforged, Equipoise, Inferi, Inanimate Existence, and Flub, the Nashville-based label continues to look towards the future through continually expanding their roster. Fresh off the recent signing of California seasoned tech-death veterans Arkaik, The Artisan Era is excited to announce the signing of Stockton, California-based symphonic technical death metal outfit Symbolik who will release their debut full-length through the label in 2020.
Symbolik consists of vocalist Chris Blackburn, guitarists Allen Burton (Alterbeast) and Taylor Whitney, Bassist Daniel Juarez, and drummer Brandon Clevenstine. Originally formed in 2009 by Chris and Allen, they solidified the line-up for their 2011 six-song debut EP Pathogenesis which was well-received throughout the underground metal community. Fast-forward to 2019 and after an extended hiatus; Symbolik marks their return with an upcoming tour and full-length album. Get ready for neo-classical, hyper-melodic, and symphonic tinged tech-death of the highest order coming your way soon live and from the studio.
Symbolik comments on signing with The Artisan Era: "We are excited to be working with The Artisan Era to release our first full-length album. It's been several years of trial and effort to bring this album to completion and provide everyone with a quality product. We have poured everything we have into this release and we just hope that people enjoy it as much as we do. The Artisan Era was the perfect choice for releasing this album upon the world, and we are honored to be a part of this ever-growing community."
