Process Black (ex-Deadguy, Himsa, Lumbar) announce debut EP

Official press release: With a top-tier lineup comprised of members from Kiss it Goodbye, Ramprasad, Deadguy, No Escape, Lumbar, Bible Black Tyrant, Cascabel, COTCM, and Craft Spells, it's no surprise that Process Black's brutalizing sound carries musicianship and volume in equal measure. Following up their 2015 trio of demos, Process Black has announced that they will be releasing a three-song EP via Deathwish Inc. this autumn. "Lies Over Truth" is the opening track of Process Black's masterful new EP, which blends the viciousness of noise-rock with the hard-driving intensity of hardcore. Recorded by engineers Derek Moree (drums) and Joe Boldizar (vocals) and mastered by Brad Boatright (Converge, Nails, etc.), Countdown Failure is brimming with an intensity that is barely contained within the confines of the EP's runtime. EP opener "Lies Over Truth" emerges from sludgy riffing before combusting into sonic violence, bolstered by Tim Singer's trademark rage-tinged vocals. "The Worst In Us" introduces a seismic shift, downturning into a crushing backdrop for Singer's dirges. Capping with closer "Breathing Becomes Difficult," Process Black leave their listener trembling, reckoning with the ferocity that just leveled the room.
