Intronaut recording new album

Wednesday, August 28, 2019 10:10 AM PT

Los Angeles, California progressive metal/post-metal outfit Intronaut have seemingly entered the studio to begin tracking their Metal Blade Records debut.

While the band has yet to officially reveal who will be playing drums on the new record (Danny Walker exited Intronaut last year), it appears that providing the beats will be none other than Alex Rudinger (Whitechapel, ex-Good Tiger, The Faceless, Threat Signal). Three days ago Intronaut said that "drummer boy gets in Tuesday" and last night (Tuesday), the band posted a brief IG story featuring Rudinger in the flesh.

Drummer aside, an early 2020 release via Metal Blade is expected.
