The World We Knew back together, working on new record

Six years after calling it quits, The World We Knew have gotten back together and will release a new record later this year. Vocalist and founder Frank Fanelli had the following to say about their return:
"The funny part about being in a band is that there's simplify no real rules or guidelines. When I started TWWK in 2004, I was a sophomore in high school, and we went full throttle for 9 years straight. Countless tours, 3 full lengths, a bunch of labels.. and honestly we broke up because we were burnt out, poor as hell and spinning our wheels. "Now that we've hit the 10 year mark of our CD 'To The Wolves', we're re-releasing it back on the world DIY style... but also for the very first time on vinyl too (limited to 300 made). On top of that, you'll find a new demos and rarities CD on all the streaming platforms called 'XV' which basically contains a few unreleased songs that you've never heard and demos dating all the way back to when we were kids. "Finally, to celebrate 15 years of The World We Knew, we ARE going to release a brand new record before the year is over featuring some new members and some old members. So I promise we'll see you soon. Happy 15 years!"
