With his ownership of the Cro-Mags name now legally secure, band co-founder Harley Flanagan has turned his attention to recording the first new Cro-Mags album since 2000's Revenge. Work on the outing is currently taking place with producer and engineer Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Trapped Under Ice).
Flanagan had this to say about the new material:
"I can honestly say some of it sounds like if Cro-Mags would have written Master of Puppets! There are parts of it that remind me of Metallica meets Minor Threat, and there are parts of it that remind me of Bad Brains meet Metallica And yet all of it sounds like Cro-Mags."
