Insomnium begin recording new album

Melodic death metal quartet Insomnium have entered the studio to begin recording their eighth studio album. Drum tracking is taking place at SF Sound Studio in Lehmo, Finland with Kimmo Perkkiö engineering. Teemu Aalto (Omnium Gatherum, Marianas Rest) will then take over production, with final mixing to be handled by Jens Bogren (Dimmu Borgir, Arch Enemy). An autumn release via Century Media Records is expected.
