Rigor Mortis and Warbeast singer Bruce Corbitt passed away today (Friday, January 25) following an 18-month battle with esophageal cancer. He was 56 years old.
Corbitt's diagnosis was originally revealed in May 2017 and the cancer progressed to Stage 4 by the beginning of 2018. Following a tumultuous year in which he fought desperately to participate in a clinical trial, Corbitt was ultimately informed that his cancer was not treatable via said trial.
In late-2018, Corbitt announced that he had entered hospice.

Oh man this is just horrible. It will take awhile to process this. I think my night is over. I was making Eggplant Moussaka and I didn't have any mushrooms, so I substituted tofu and the taste seemed just a bit off.
