Long Island, NY hardcore/metal outfit Sanction were the victims of theft this evening in Dallas, TX. In addition to personal belongings, a "big chunk of money" was stolen on this, the final day of the band's tour with Stick To Your Guns and Emmure. Sanction had this to say:
"Our van was broken into tonight in Dallas. Personal belongings and a big chunk of money were stolen. This was the last day of a long tour with Stick To Your Guns and Emmure and we can't think of a worse way to end it. If you want to help out you can pick up some merch from our Bandcamp. We're also playing a few more shows on our way home if you wanna come out and pick something up. Anything is really appreciated."

You'd think the entirety of lower-level touring musicians would figure their shit out by now. Not like this is even remotely within the thousandth time this has happened in recent memory. No sympathy. Plan a defense or die mad.

Go to the bank

I heard Tim Lambesis is offering personal bodyguard services, on a for-hire basis while he is not trying to murder his wife

"Was the bag of jewels ok?" LOL IM DEAD. BURY ME IM fckIN DEAD

anonymous 11/12/2018 6:33:20 AM

Why would anyone leave money like that in a van? Carry It. Thats like me leaving my bank account in my car at night while I sleep in my house.

anonymous 11/12/2018 6:45:27 AM

^because all of these bans "thefts" are inside jobs and cons

White Knights jump at the chance to help Harm's Way, laugh when other bands make the exact same stupid rookie mistakes. This and more tonight at 10.

anonymous 11/12/2018 8:20:09 AM

Its called having a book bag and carrying your money in that. I know, pretty extreme thinking.

anonymous 11/12/2018 9:58:44 AM

I'm not a fan of the band but this happens. A lot of times, you don't have a bank to go to. You can't keep it on stage. You can keep it in a bookbag but that can be grabbed easier then breaking into a vehicle. Keeping it in your touring vehicle sounds like a sound idea because it's supposed to be secured. Mostly every band does this unless you have someone whose only purpose is to be with the money the whole time. People get their vehicles broken into all the time, just sucks when it does.

Implicater band member above me with a long winded response trying to defend the industry wide inside con jobs known as "band van/trailer thefts". Wonder when the public will wise up yo this outrageous fraud.

People make fun of Kurt Catalyst for wearing a book bag on stage when he sang for Birthright. I never heard of them getting their money stolen.

anonymous 11/12/2018 11:36:36 AM

I was not expecting a Kurt Catalyst reference today. Wow. Does he still have a butt cut?

anonymous 11/12/2018 4:09:39 PM

bet it was black people

anonymous 11/12/2018 7:43:49 PM

bet it was black people ^^^^^ In Dallas? Never...

anonymous 11/12/2018 9:45:34 PM

I'm sure their rich parents can help replace their stolen money.

anonymous 11/13/2018 1:03:13 PM

Ah, the classic "this tour didn't make as much money as we anticiapted, so let's inside job a robbery" move. Cue the kickstarter

anonymous 11/13/2018 1:19:05 PM

Lumpy gave a 16 year old herpes so no sympathy here. I seriously wonder why this band tours so much since it's absolute shit.

anonymous 11/13/2018 2:23:08 PM

long island nobodys took a chance and flopped it. big surprise there.

anonymous 11/13/2018 2:52:08 PM

there's no way any of these clowns live on their own. their parents will definitely cover their stolen money.

anonymous 11/13/2018 8:54:52 PM

If your trailer gets robber in 2018 then you fail at being a complete band. but hey gofckingfundme.

anonymous 11/14/2018 5:47:23 AM

why do bands still leave money and their personal belongings in their vans unattended? i will never have any sympathy for bands that lose their stuff because of their own negligence

anonymous 11/14/2018 4:56:03 PM

l o l did lumpy really do that to a 16 year old? I see that posted every time there's a thread on sanction. then again his girlfriend is ugly so it may be all he can get

anonymous 11/15/2018 11:21:13 AM
