Deftones resume work on new album

This past spring Deftones confirmed that they had begun work on their next album and follow-up to 2016's Gore. At the time, frontman Chino Moreno said they had six or seven songs in the works. Moreno also made it clear that, unlike Gore, guitarist Stephen Carpenter would be involved from the beginning. Yesterday, the band issued a photo (with the hashtag "writing") of Carpenter and company working on new material at the band's rehearsal studio, The Spot, in Sacramento, CA. Have a look below, and stay tuned for further updates on the next Deftones record.
