Kvelertak has announced that they will forge ahead following the departure of vocalist, Erlend Hjelvik, and hope to release a new album in 2019. Here's what the band had to say:
"We have known for a while that Erlend has planned to step down, so we have had the necessary time to plan the way going forward and also find a new vocalist for Kvelertak. "The original plan was to finish up the festival season with Erlend, but as Erlend is not able to do so, we are therefore proudly announcing our newest member at the upcoming show Friday, July 20th, at Fjellparken, Norway. "We would like to thank Erlend Hjelvik for his contribution to the band, and wish him all the best for the future. "Kvelertak is currently working on their next album, intended for release in 2019."

Sweet. It's like having a shit filled toilet clogged up by way too much toilet paper and people keep pissing and shitting on top of the original mess. Then you finally call in a plumber and after getting it snaked and plunged properly, the toilet swallows all the shit, piss and toilet paper. Back to normal.

Hey everyone Ben Weinman here, formerly known as the guitar player for DEP and the current guitar player of Suicidal Tendencies. I will fill in for vocals. PS. what is with the bird head. Never hear of the John Baizley band?
