Continuum recording new album
Official press release: Northern, Ca based technical death metal group Continuum have begun tracking the follow up to their monstrous 2015 Unique Leader debut, The Hypothesis. The group, whose veteran lineup consists of guitarists Chase Fraser (ex-Animosity, ex-Decrepit Birth) and Ivan Munguia (Deeds of Flesh), Vocalist Riley McShane (Allegaeon), bassist Nate Willbrand (ex-Flesh Consumed), and drummer Ron Casey (Inanimate Existence, ex-Braindrill, ex-Rings of Saturn), recently began recording their new album, entitled Designing Obsolescence, at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, CA with Zack Ohren (Suffocation, All Shall Perish). Artwork will is being handled by Par Oloffson (Aborted, Beyond Creation). Guitarist Chase Fraser commented on the album, "We're really excited to release our second record for Unique Leader Records. I feel like this album incapsulates the feel of our first album while adding many more layers and expanding on the concept of what Continuum can do as a band." Designing Obsolescence is currently slated for a fall release.
