Underoath album debuts in Top 20

Erase Me, the first album in eight years from Florida rock band Underoath, has debuted at No. 16 on the Billboard 200 chart and No. 4 on the Top Albums Sales chart, selling roughly 21,000 copies in its first week of release in the United States. The showing is very similar to that of the band's previous album, Ø (Disambiguation) (2010), which sold 24,000 copies in its debut week and bowed at No. 23 on the Billboard 200. Going back further, Underoath's 2008 album, Lost in the Sound of Separation, debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 on the strength of 56,000 in first-week sales. Underoath's most successful debut occurred in 2006, when their Define the Great Line album landed at No. 2 on the aforementioned chart after selling nearly 100,000 copies in its first week.
