Deftones may be working on new music

It's been two years since influential Sacramento, California alternative metal band Deftones released their last album, Gore, and it appears that they might once again be working on some new material. Within the last day, the group shared two photos from what appears to be their rehearsal studio, adding "someone say jam?!" and the tag "backatit." We'll have to see what happens, but Deftones don't return to the road for another two months, so the break conceivably affords them the opportunity to work on new music.
