Post CommentFit For An Autopsy should be on this so we can listen to Pat lament about his years of being a "professional musician" in "touring bands" and can give us "non professionals" advice on the "touring lifestyle."
Manson is already planning his temper tantrum on stage so he can walk off but still collect the paycheck.
stoked to finally be able to see Emperor and Underoath on the same bill
stoked to finally be able to see Emmu.......wait
best lineup I've seen for a fest in awhile, a good mix. Glad power trip is on this :)
Iron Reagan blew Power Trip off the stage. Napalm will do the same to all these chumps.
stoked as shit for Alestorm that band is awesome. fight me if you disagree.
1. Iron Reagan is indisputably worse than Power Trip. "fck the neighbors" is some of the cringiest shit I've heard in crossover. 2. Every time I see "I Prevail" I think it's "It Prevails" and it reminds me of that one good record and how bad metalcore is now
it prevails and zao and hopesfall and shai hulud and remembering never and sinai beach and converge and winter solstice and misery signals and poison the well is not good metalcore, never was. early to mid 00s AILD, KSE, ATR, shadows fall, BYD, LoG, ETID, IDT mopped the floor with those bands.

That's the good sh*t. Only people who ever say hot trash like remembering never and eighteen visions was the best metalcore are some poser ass young "hardcore" kids

Oh yeah, Tech N9ne and Napalm Death. Glorious.

You discovered a lot of music through Myspce didn't you
^ myspace picked up speed 06/07 ... those bands had releases well before myspace days. AA, TDWP, JFAC, SS come to mind when when mentioning myspace bands. your time frame and assessment is off
"^ myspace picked up speed 06/07 ... those bands had releases well before myspace days. AA, TDWP, JFAC, SS come to mind when when mentioning myspace bands. your time frame and assessment is off" Pretty sure AILD had a myspace, guy
You're just mentioning all the scene bands that got big BECAUSE of myspace.
AILD and co. early to mid 00s (03 to 05) releases were out before myspace was popular, therefore not used to find them. is reading comprehension that difficult
Sick lineup. I'd sufer through Justin Trudeau's hellish ice dungeon of a country to see this shit. I don't even care that him and all his goons would force feed me transgender pills
"AILD and co. early to mid 00s (03 to 05) releases were out before myspace was popular, therefore not used to find them. is reading comprehension that difficult" You just admitted that myspace picked up speed in 06, you're splitting hairs here bud.
By the way, ATR's breakthrough record came out in 2006, AILD's came in 2007. I actually like the BYD, LoG, ETID and IDT stuff that was happening before 05 but you're trying too hard right now
this darkened heart 2004, shadows are security 2005. using my space to find music was not accurate or relevant to the listed. these bands were known prior to '06 even if henceforth offerings sold better.
TDH is such an irrelevant release and you know that in your Jesse Leach era KSE loving heart. Shadows are Security, okay, I'll concede to that one because AILD did have a sizable following before Myspace even though they blew up afterwards. Whiiiiich happened for pretty much all of the other bands you listed. Myspace helped young kids find slightly older bands that they were comfortable latching onto for scene cred.
You just like metalcore that is more metal than core, and that's fine.
Sick lineup. I'd sufer through Justin Trudeau's hellish ice dungeon of a country to see this shit. I don't even care that him and all his goons would force feed me transgender pills They don't let pederasts across the border, so you're out of luck snowflake. Call up Infowars and cry about, nancy boy.
TDH was surely a noteworthy release and best offering. set them up nicely for a sounds slot in 2005. as for KSE, alive or just breathing is the grade... but I prefer the releases with howard to the ones with jesse since he re-joined. mid 00s metalcore
I look at that record as a foundation, and not much more. It's better than everything after TFOI, but I believe that is the superior record. Behind Silence and Solitude is very different and I don't think ATR really knew what they were doing yet. For KSE, the Howard releases are far better than Jesse's new shit, which is the case for a lot of reformations. You mentioned good bands, but to discount the validity of Converge, PtW, 18v and so forth is just trolling
Misery Signals was great, Sinai was pretty average, Shai Hulud has really never put out a "bad" record. You can't really say the same for KSE, Shadows Fall, ATR, AILD (dude wovenwar is terrible). 04-08 represented both a rise and decline for different linds of metalcore, because of social media. Acacia Strain did their first LP in 02 but that doesn't mean it was any good. Mid 00's is a very grey area.
