Bleeding Through drops off tour following accident

While en route to a show in Denver from Salt Lake City this morning near Park City, Utah, Bleeding Through's van hit a patch of black ice and spun out of control, hitting a truck that had already flipped over. Both the van and the trailer were smashed, with the band's equipment ending up all over the highway. Fortunately, nobody sustained any major injuries, but the group has cancelled the last nine days of their current tour with Chimaira, Soilwork, and As I Lay Dying. Here's a message from Bleeding Through vocalist Brandan Schieppati regarding the incident: "We just wanted to thank everyone who come out to the shows. Their energy was inspiring to us. And to Chimaira, Soilwork and As I Lay Dying for hitting the road with us. And most importantly our friends in Sinai Beach for letting us use their van. We are truly sorry for wrecking it - we are forever in debt. And sorry to the kids who we are going to miss."
