Floridian metalcore act Wage War has barely missed the Top 50 with the release of their sophomore album, Deadweight. The record landed at No. 54 on the Billboard 200 chart with first-week sales of roughly 8,350 in the United States. Meanwhile, the album debuted at No. 2 on the Hard Rock Albums chart and No. 8 on the Top Rock Albums chart.

The showing is a dramatic improvement over Wage War's debut album, 2015's Blueprints, which failed to register on the Billboard 200. The record did, however, land at a respectable No. 9 on the Hard Rock Albums chart and No. 43 on the Top Rock Albums chart.
