The Acacia Strain album debuts in Top 150

Gravebloom, the new album from Massachusetts metal/hardcore act The Acacia Strain has debuted at No. 146 on the Billboard 200 chart, with first weeks sales of roughly 5,100 in the United States and Canada. Meanwhile, the release landed at No. 37 on Top Album Sales chart and No. 4 on the Independent Albums chart.

The tally represents a significant drop compared to the band's previous album, Coma Witch, which sold 9,400 copies in its first week and debuted at No. 31 on the aforementioned chart (prior to said chart's recalibration).

The Acacia Strain's 2012 full-length, Death Is The Only Mortal bowed at No. 51 on the Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 8,600.

Going back further, Wormwood (2010) sold 6,400 copies in its first week and debuted at No. 67.

Finally, The Acacia Strain first appeared on the Billboard 200 in 2008 when their Continent album landed at No. 107 with first-week sales of 5,500.
