Following a run of reunion shows early this year, City of Caterpillar has now announced plans to release their first new recording in roughly 15 years. Previously unreleased, "Driving Spain Up A Wall" was tracked earlier this year in Richmond, Virginia and New York City, then mixed by Jack Shirley at The Atomic Garden. The band performed the song many times, however, failed to properly record the composition before disbanding in 2003. The new recording will be released on a 12" EP alongside the outtake track "As the Curtains Dim (Little White Lie)," which surfaced earlier this year as a digital-only single. The two-track vinyl package will be released this summer, followed by a digital release. A teaser can be heard below.
