ex-Morbid Angel singer, drummer launch I Am Morbid

Former Morbid Angel vocalist David Vincent has teamed up with former Morbid Angel drummer Tim Yeung to launch I Am Morbid, essentially a Morbid Angel tribute band. Rounded out by Bill Hudson (Circle II Circle) and Ira Black (Metal Church), the group will perform material from Morbid Angel's Altars of Madness, Blessed Are The Sick, Covenant, and Domination albums. Vincent says, "Looking forward to being back! I Am Morbid with Tim Yeung, Bill Hudson and Ira Black, performing all my classic Morbid Angel songs." Thus far, the band has two shows scheduled (March 24 and March 25 in Brazil), with more on the way.

Dave Vincent never seemed to take his own band seriously.

Hardcore Joe signing in. Anyone listen to real hardcore anymore? Like the bands I pit on my fest? Bands that know about watching each other's backs. Bands with my family and my friends and my brothers in them. Real hardcore. My family are my friends and my friends are my family. Don't fight us. You will lose. We fight Nazis. We win, we watch out for each other.
