Harm's Way signs with Metal Blade Records

Harm's Way band Official press release: Metal Blade Records is proud to announce the worldwide signing of Chicagoan metal/hardcore unit Harm's Way. Currently writing the follow-up to 2015's acclaimed Rust, Harm's Way is expected to release their fourth full-length and Metal Blade Records debut in 2017. Harm's Way comments: "We are very excited to be working with Metal Blade Records. Their longstanding history in the alternative music community speaks volumes. To join a roster of such highly influential artists is truly an honor. We look forward to the next steps we will be taking as a band on both personal and artistic levels. " Metal Blade Records CEO Brian Slagel adds, "Super excited to be working with Harm's Way! We welcome them to the Metal Blade family. I have been a fan since Chris Santos turned me onto them!" Harm's Way has emerged from the wreckage of past genres to set a new standard in contemporary heavy music. With their latest offering, Rust, the four-piece brilliantly combines industrial repetition (ala Godflesh) with the aggressive attack of metal/hardcore. Fans can expect another seminal album with the group's upcoming, currently untitled record - which will surely raise the bar for heavy music once again.

And in related news, Metal Blade Records has decided not to fund any further Harms Way recordings or music tours, and instead bought a mobile gym, planning a tour where overweight beatdown kids pay to watch James work out for an hour.

Rust was trash. Assuming more trash from them too seeing as how Twitching Tongues Disharmony album went

anonymous 12/7/2016 1:56:24 PM

Metal Blade did nothing for Twitching Tongues last record whatsoever. Hope they do something for Harms Way.

One note chug thugs are stoked to cut a rug in the pit with some bugs eating chicken nugs while trying not to get hugged by a fat girl in a slug.....fest shirt.

I could make a "so and so wants to be Morrissey" or "so and so needs to lay off the roids" but hopelly their next release is solid.

"One note chug thugs are stoked to cut a rug in the pit with some bugs eating chicken nugs while trying not to get hugged by a fat girl in a slug.....fest shirt." Okay I know this is said a lot, but this is comment of the millennium as far as I'm concerned

Rust was so bad. It was like they ran out of riffs but kept making songs

Shows that hardcore kids are so stupid, like little boys with muscly action figures. No wonder most of those retards still watch wrestling.

anonymous 12/8/2016 12:11:42 PM

people still care about this crucial component of the hardcore kid starter pack??

anonymous 12/9/2016 8:55:51 PM

anonymous 12/10/2016 7:53:39 AM

Hardcore Joe here. They play my fest because they are real hardcore for the kids. Like me committed to the scene. I love my friends and my family. I'll stand up for them. Fight for them. If you don't understand, you never will. Brothers Standing united against society. Family and friends forever.
