Of Mice & Men cancel Australian tour

Of Mice & Men have dropped off their December tour of Australia with A Day To Remember as frontman Austin Carlile continues his recovery from several surgical procedures. Issues will step in to take their spot on the bill. Of Mice & Men have issued the following statement:
"Due to Austin's ongoing recovery from recent surgeries, Of Mice & Men are saddened to announce that they will no longer be able to join A Day To Remember on their Australian tour. The band appreciates your understanding and support of Austin's daily struggle with his chronic illness, and we want our fans to know that he is taking the time and measures needed to recover from his extensive hospital stay. We hope to see you all soon."

It seems Austin should see the liability he is to the band and step aside. They cancel more tours than they fulfill. It affects the band's ability to generate tour income, to properly promote their release(s), and not to mention it consistently screws whatever crew they employ who potentially pass on other tours to work these cancelled tours, and adding extra work on their booking agent(s) to have to cancel tours/contracts.
