Riverside, California deathcore act Impending Doom has been extremely quiet since the 2013 release of their last album, Death Will Reign. That looks to change very soon as the group has now stated that they will release a new album in 2017. Writing began for the record this past spring and has since progressed to demo sessions (as you can see by the photo below).
