Lorna Shore signs with Outerloop Records
New Jersey deathcore band Lorna Shore has officially signed with Outerloop Records, the label launched by Outerloop founder Mike Mowery "to support developing artists in taking advantage of their music and sound recording rights." Lorna Shore comments: "Happy to announce we've signed with Outerloop Records! We have a lot of exciting things in the works so stay tuned." The news comes as Outerloop has also announced the formation of a new artist development deal with Cooking Vinyl America. Mower had this to say about the partnership: "When we went looking for a new label home there were many people who expressed interest. Our track record for both managing and releasing developing artists is unrivaled. As a team, we have always been willing to go the extra mile for our artists to help them grow, and we are elated to have another arm of our company to help artists develop and prosper. Howie Gabriel and Marc Schapiro, of Cooking Vinyl America, have demonstrated equal enthusiasm for what we aim to do and we cannot be more proud to partner with them." The first releases of the new partnership will include full-length albums from Lorna Shore and Megosh.
