KEN mode announces new EP

Official press release: KEN Mode is back. Following the release of last year's Success LP, the trio has announced an EP for venerable noise rock label Reptilian Records (Fight Amp, UXO). Titled Nerve, the 7-inch/digital EP is being described by the band as a three-song B-sides EP. Nerve will be released on November 10th and pre-orders will start on October 7th (via Reptilian Records website). The three songs on the EP were recorded the same time as the Steve Albini recorded 2014 session for Success. As a bonus, the digital version of the 7" will also include the previously unreleased digital version of the track "Absolutely Not" from the split single with Atlas Moth as well as three 2011 pre-production demos from the 2013 full-length Entrench record - for a whopping total of 7 tracks. Prior to this announcement, the band has been largely quiet during 2016. However they have recently confirmed that they have begun the writing process for their next full length, which promises to be a much darker experiment in noise and metallic themes than their previous output.
