This band has been dropped by booking agents for continuing to ask for outrageous guarantees even though they bring out 10-15 people a night. This shit show is fcking pathetic. A sad joke that seemingly has no punchline.
Saw them live in 2014. Different singer drummer and rhythm guitarist. 12 people there total including a goth chick and a skinny dude in a fedora trying to start a pit all night with some old guy who said his wife was pissed he ditches his kids to mosh every night.

Former hulud member here. Fox is the shittiest person to tour with. Hence why the band goes through so members. They also don't make any money, another reason not to waste your time.

matt fox here. Truth be told, our lineup did stabilize since then, and then it didn't, and lo, then it did again. Such is life. Especially if you are playing in full time in a band that does not make enough money to pay its members' bills. People will leave. No question. Mean Pete offered to step up to the mic for this tour, for next one we are going to ask our good friend Todd Jones or whoever we meet at the next gas station. Excelsior!
I don't really have an opinion on them but I'll go to their show in Canton. No real bands come here, it'll be cool to see them.

I had breakfast with Matt Fox once and it completely ruined Shai Hulud for me. The whole experience was fcking gross. Can't imagine trying to deal with that for weeks at a time.
Well, for one he kept eating with his mouth open. Little bits of saliva and scrambled egg congealed in the corners of his mouth into something so disgusting I cannot eat eggs to this day without feeling a bit sick. Two, he kept using words like 'axiomatic' 'moribund' 'insouciant' and 'excelsior' that made me wonder if he actually talks that way or spent a lot of time studying pretentious words just to casually use in conversation.
