The Acacia Strain prepare to record new album

Massachusetts deathcore/metal band The Acacia Strain will begin to demo material for a new record next month. In a new episode of the Pants OFF! podcast, whick you can check out below, bass player Griffin Landa says that the group will convene at his The Establishment Recording studio in Des Moines, IA early next month to begin work on new material. Landa says the group will formally enter the studio in June to begin tracking the effort. Notably, Landa also added that the group recorded two songs this past winter which he expects to appear on an unspecified split in the near future.
