Dig Deep, the new album from Minnesota progressive metal band After The Burial, has debuted at No. 50 on the Billboard 200 chart. This is the group's fifth album, and their first since the passing of guitarist and co-founder Justin Lowe. Selling roughly 10,500 copies in its first week of release in the United States, the Sumerian Records release landed at No. 1 on both the Independent Albums and Hard Rock Albums charts. To date, the band has never had an album in the Top 5 of either chart. Meanwhile, this is After The Burial's first album to crack the Top 100 on the Billboard 200. The band's 2010 album, In Dreams, sold just over 4,000 in its debut week.
