Cradle of Filth cancels beginning of U.S. tour

Cradle of Filth has cancelled at least the first four dates of their North American tour, which also includes Butcher Babies and Ne Obliviscaris. Cradle of Filth frontman Dani Filth had this to say:
"With a massively heavy heart Cradle Of Filth have to announce the cancellation, (for now at least), of our first four shows in the U.S, because of a visa issue with the American Embassy. We are doing everything in our power to rectify this situation as fast as possible. It is an nightmarish situation for all and we can only apologise for all those fans who have bought tickets. Thank you for your understanding and please be assured we are doing everything we can to be with you as soon as is humanly possible and that should be 31st January in Charlotte, NC. We look forward to seeing you then. For refunds, please contact your point of purchase. We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
Shows cancelled thus far are as follows: 1/26 Philadelphia, PA @ Theater of the Living Arts 1/27 Boston, MA @ House of Blues 1/28 Baltimore, MD @ Baltimore Soundstage 1/29 Raleigh, NC @ The Ritz
